I’m a Newborn Photographer based in Carshalton and I love to photograph babies! Tiny toes and curled up fingers, button noses and perfect features. You will want to remember your newborn baby exactly as they were, as they grow up so fast! It is true that time passes by so quickly and the Newborn phase is very fleeting. Capturing beautiful images of them while they are this little are the moments you will want to treasure for years to come.
As your Carshalton Newborn Photographer, I’ve had the privilege of photographing hundreds of babies and their families over the years. I am fully trained in the art of Newborn baby posing and I continue to educate myself, training with leading photographers, so rest assured your baby is in safe hands!
I pride myself on my meticulous attention to detail throughout your session as I believe you and your baby deserve the best, and I have won multiple awards from the Guild of Photographers for my work.

I have a beautiful, bespoke studio in the heart of Carshalton village, and I offer in-home sessions as well, serving customers across Carshalton, Wallington, Sutton, Cheam, Banstead, Croydon, Epsom, Kingston, London Boroughs and Surrey.
CARSHALTON NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER – THE SESSION
On the day of your Photoshoot you will be warmly welcomed and invited into my warm, cosy studio. The sessions are baby-led and I take a calm, relaxed approach and work around your baby’s needs, focusing on their safety and comfort at all times.
As your Carshalton Newborn Photographer, Newborn sessions with me are 2-3 hours and I do a mixture of bespoke set-ups with baby swaddled in props, as well as the un-swaddled baby poses on blanket backdrops. Family & sibling images can of course be included as well.
I have a beautiful collection of uniquely sourced props from around the world such as baskets, beds and crates, outfits and accessories, the choice is yours! I love to artistically bring in flowers and foliage into my work to create timeless images.
CARSHALTON NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER – AFTER YOUR SESSION
After your session I carefully select and hand edit your images. Within 2-3 weeks after your session, I will provide you with a secure online gallery for you to view and choose your images.

PRICING
BOOKING
To book a session with me, I require a £50 booking fee to secure your session. I book you in for a date based on your due date, and once baby arrives we fix the date.
The booking fee secures your space in my diary and includes a pre-session consultation via email or telephone so that I can prepare your session and design your prop set-ups to suit your style, ahead of the big day.
The booking fee also includes a preparation and styling guide, so that you know what to bring, what you can do to have baby settled and ready before you come over, and the arrangements for the day.
The booking fee does not include any digital images or prints.
PACKAGES
I offer various packages with different numbers of images for you to choose from, on top of the booking fee.
All of my packages include the session itself, including the usage of my props. The packages also include the digital images which are high resolution and professionally edited.
I have a range of print options available as an optional extra. Please let me know if you would like the price list.

The “Simply Newborn Mini Sessions” are short & simple, 1 hour weekday only sessions for Newborns. All props used will be white, including one white prop set-up and white blanket backdrop, outfit and accessories.

Emma is an amazing photographer. She came to our house to do our baby shoot as I was after a C-Section. She was very professional and warm to be around. She made us feel very comfortable and done an amazing shoot for our little boy. We were blown away by the images she captured. YOUR QUESTIONS
I take bookings from your 20 week scan onwards. The ideal time for newborn photos is when baby is 4-20 days old and I book you in for a date based on your due date. If baby comes early or late then we simply move the date. Once you’re booked in then your space is guaranteed.
If your newborn baby is already here and you haven’t yet booked in, then please do still get in touch as I do hold some limited spaces in my calendar for last minute availability.
Absolutely yes! Life happens and baby brain is real, and it is not always possible to have your photos taken in the first 3 weeks. I offer newborn style photoshoots for babies up to 12 weeks old. Older babies tend to my more wakeful and it is great opportunity to capture those first smiles, and when they nap I curl them up into the poses on the beanbag. I have a range of props for older babies too.
I have a beautiful bespoke studio in the heart of Carshalton Village, where I do most of my newborn photoshoots. In my studio I have a comfortable beanbag for posing baby and access to all of my props for greater flexibility. I also have off street parking available for your use. All you need to do is turn up, sit back and relax and watch me create your beautiful images.
If you cannot get to me or you would simply prefer the photoshoot in the comfort of your own home, then we can of course do that. I will need a bed or sofa near to a window for us to use natural light for your photos, and I will bring props with me.
On a newborn photoshoot with me I do a range of different set ups, with baby wrapped up in props and in the curled up poses on the beanbag. I am calm and patient and I use a range of techniques to settle babies. Most babies need a bit of time to feed and settle and almost all will go to sleep for a while. If baby is super alert and far too interested in watching me work than sleeping, then I take the opportunity to capture some beautiful eyes wide open shots and cute facial expressions during their wakeful period.
Ahead of your photoshoot I will have a consultation with you to see what you would like for your photos. If there are any particular props or set ups you would like me to include, parent or sibling shots, then let me know. I will also ask you to choose your colour palette for your photos.

I specialise in newborn photography and I am highly trained in newborn posing and safety, so you can be rest assured your baby is in safe hands.
I have won multiple awards from the Guild of Photographers for my newborn work, including the Photographers bar in Newborn photography. A distinction that is very hard to achieve!
