There is nothing quite like those first few weeks with your new baby. Their tiny fingers and toes, sleepy stretches, delicate features and expressions change so quickly, making the Newborn stage one of the most precious and fleeting times in your family’s story.
As a specialist Newborn Photographer based in Carshalton, I create beautiful, timeless portraits that preserve these precious memories forever. My goal is to capture your baby exactly as they are in those early days, creating artwork that you will treasure for generations.
I am highly experienced, having photographed hundreds of Newborn babies and their families over the last 8 years. So you can feel confident knowing your little one is in safe hands. I am fully trained in Newborn posing and safety, and I continually invest in advanced training with some of the industry’s leading Newborn photographers.
I am known for my attention to detail, calm approach and beautifully styled imagery, and I am proud to have received multiple awards from The Guild of Photographers for my work.

Newborns sessions are in my beautiful, purpose-designed studio in the heart of Carshalton Village.
I also offer sessions in the comfort of your own home for families across Carshalton, Wallington, Sutton, Cheam, Banstead, Croydon, Epsom, Kingston, Surrey and London.
CARSHALTON NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER – YOUR NEWBORN SESSION
From the moment you arrive, you’ll be welcomed into a warm, cosy studio environment designed with both you and your baby in mind. Every session is completely baby-led, allowing plenty of time for feeding, cuddles and settling whenever needed. Your baby’s comfort and safety are always my highest priority.
Newborn sessions typically last between 2-3 hours and include a variety of carefully styled set-ups. These include beautifully wrapped poses using my collection of specialist props, alongside natural posed images on soft blankets and backdrops.
Parents, siblings and family photographs are always welcome and are often some of the most treasured images from the session.
I have carefully curated a collection of unique props, baskets, beds, outfits and accessories sourced from around the world. Together we can create a session that reflects your style and colour preferences, resulting in beautiful, timeless images you’ll love for years to come.
CARSHALTON NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHER – AFTER YOUR SESSION
Following your session, I carefully select and professionally hand-edit your images to the highest standard.
Within 2-3 weeks, you’ll receive access to a private online gallery where you can view your photographs and choose your favourite images for your package.

PRICING
BOOK YOUR NEWBORN SESSION
Newborn sessions are best booked during pregnancy to guarantee availability around your due date. However, I do have last minute spaces so do get in touch to check!
To secure your session, a £50 booking fee is required. This fee reserves space in my diary around your baby’s due date and is DEDUCTED from your chosen package, meaning it goes towards your final investment.
Once your baby arrives, we’ll confirm the exact session date.
PACKAGES & PRICING
I offer a range of packages to suit different preferences and budgets.
The packages include the Newborn session itself, my professional editing and you will receive a gallery of high-resolution digital images.
Beautiful prints, wall art and keepsake products are also available as optional extras. Just ask me for further details and a price list.
Please note that the £50 booking fee is DEDUCTED from your chosen package price and is not an additional charge.

Emma is an amazing photographer. She came to our house to do our baby shoot as I was after a C-Section. She was very professional and warm to be around. YOUR QUESTIONS
I take bookings from your 20 week scan onwards. The ideal time for newborn photos is when baby is 4-20 days old and I book you in for a date based on your due date. If baby comes early or late then we simply move the date. Once you’re booked in then your space is guaranteed.
If your newborn baby is already here and you haven’t yet booked in, then please do still get in touch as I do hold some limited spaces in my calendar for last minute availability.
Absolutely yes! Life happens and baby brain is real, and it is not always possible to have your photos taken in the first 3 weeks. I offer newborn style photoshoots for babies up to 12 weeks old. Older babies tend to my more wakeful and it is great opportunity to capture those first smiles, and when they nap I curl them up into the poses on the beanbag. I have a range of props for older babies too.
I have a beautiful bespoke studio in the heart of Carshalton Village, where I do most of my newborn photoshoots. In my studio I have a comfortable beanbag for posing baby and access to all of my props for greater flexibility. I also have off street parking available for your use. All you need to do is turn up, sit back and relax and watch me create your beautiful images.
If you cannot get to me or you would simply prefer the photoshoot in the comfort of your own home, then we can of course do that. I will need a bed or sofa near to a window for us to use natural light for your photos, and I will bring props with me.
On a newborn photoshoot with me I do a range of different set ups, with baby wrapped up in props and in the curled up poses on the beanbag. I am calm and patient and I use a range of techniques to settle babies. Most babies need a bit of time to feed and settle and almost all will go to sleep for a while. If baby is super alert and far too interested in watching me work than sleeping, then I take the opportunity to capture some beautiful eyes wide open shots and cute facial expressions during their wakeful period.
Ahead of your photoshoot I will have a consultation with you to see what you would like for your photos. If there are any particular props or set ups you would like me to include, parent or sibling shots, then let me know. I will also ask you to choose your colour palette for your photos.
